JAGJIT SINGH

Jagjit Singh is the Founder and Chairman of Mazanzi Resources Group (Pty) Ltd, a diversified industrial and resource recovery group with operations in South Africa and international partnerships across multiple sectors.

Born and raised in India, Jagjit developed an early interest in technology and business. He holds a Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering, which laid the foundation for his analytical thinking, technical understanding and problem-solving approach to business.

In 2003, he relocated to South Africa in pursuit of greater opportunities. Starting in the hospitality industry, he built The Royal India Restaurant into one of the most respected Indian dining brands in the country, known for excellence, authenticity and exceptional customer service.

With a strong entrepreneurial mindset, Jagjit expanded beyond hospitality, establishing and investing in multiple businesses. He is the co-founder of JRPC, a specialist in metal recycling and sustainable e-waste recovery – an initiative that contributes to a circular economy and environmental responsibility.

Today, through Mazanzi Resources Group, he leads a growing portfolio of companies focused on sustainable resource recovery, industrial solutions and responsible business practices. His vision is to build a world-class African company that creates long-term value for stakeholders while making a positive impact on people, communities and the environment.
